1) Mercutio is a very cynical character. He displays a lot of wit and satire during the play. I mostly think he's perverted, displaying sexual innuendo whenever he can. He doesn't like love and I think he is a realist.

2) The nurse is worried that Romeo is tricking Juliet and using her. She thinks that he will hurt her.

3) Romeo tells the nurse to ask Juliet to sneak out and come to Friar Lawrence's church so that they can become married. He said for her to act like she is going to confession. He also asked her to lay out a rope ladder so that he may climb up and see her.

4) Juliet is waiting for the nurse to tell her any good or bad news in scene 5.

5) Juliet decribes love with images of sun beams, doves, cupis, and shadows over hills. It seems that Juliet thinks of love as something beautiful and natural. Maybe she thinks love is full of life.

6) Romeo is going to sneak up to Juliet's room and see her after they were married. Now he should be going there to say goodbye.

7) Friar Lawrence tells Romeo that the key to long-lasting love is moderation, and not too rush into things.

8) I do not think that Romeo and Julir=et listen to his warning. They got maried immediatley after meeting and are definitly rushing into these things. I think that most of this love is in their imaginations. Romeo broke up with Rosaline just about a week or so ago. He is heartbroken. He doesn't think he can find love again but he hopes. He suddenly finds a girl who he thinks is attractive and starts giving her qualities that he couldn't have proved yet. Juliet did not really want to marry Paris. She was searching for anyone. Once someone came up to her, she probably thought of him as her savior from Paris and decided that this was love even though I do not think she knows very well what love is.

Mercutio is one of Romeo's close friends and a kinsman t the prince. Through act one and two Mercution seems very clever and imaginative. It also seems like mnay things bother and annoy him. For example he hates it that Romeo is so passionate about love. Mercutio also makes fun of a lot of people and jokes around a lot.
In scene four the nurse is worried that Romeo might 'deal double' Juliet.
Romeo asks the Nurse to tell Juliet to come to a meeting with friar Lawrance's cell so they can be married there.
In scene five Juliet is waiting for the nurse to tell her what Romeo 's message was for her. The nurse tells Juliet shes too tired to tell her but Juliet is anxious to know so the nurse eventually tells her.
At the beggining of scene five Juliet uses sun beams, shadows of hills, doves, and cupids wings as images of love.
Romeo is going to climb up the rope ladder to get to Juliets chamber to see her on their wedding day.
In scence six Frair warns Romeo to "love mderately".
No i don't believe that Romeo and Juliet are paying attention to his warning. Romeo and Juliet are "star-crossed lovers" meaning that they aren't supposed to be together but they love eachother and they are fighting fate.

1) Mercutio is kind of synical, and he is a bit rude when talking about other people.
2) I think that the nurse is worried that Romeo might be leading Juliet into "fools" paradise because the girl is so young.
3) Romeo tells the nurse to tell Juliet to make a plan to go out of the house and make a confession at the abbey in Friar Lawerence's cell to be married.
4) In scene 5 Juliet is waiting for the Nurse to return to give her Romeo's message. Juliet is frustrated becasuse the nurse takes a while to deliver Romeo's message. Juliet learns that if she wants to get married, all she has to do is go to Friar Lawerence.
5) Juliet says that love is "ten times faster glide than the suns beams, driving back shadows over louring hills. Therefore do nimble-pinioned doves draw love".
6) Romeo is going to use the rope ladder to climb over the walls at night and meet Juliet in secret.
7) Friar Lawerence tells Romeo that him and Juliet should love each other in moderation. The key to long lasting love is loving each other in moderation. Sudden joys have sudden endings.
8) I don't think that Romeo and Juliet are paying attention to his warning. They don't love each other in moderation. Everything is happening very fast in their relationship. This is sort of the opposite of what Friar Lawerence told them.

I would describe Mercutio as a non caring person. He seems to follow his own path and do what he wants to. He is sort of impatient and kind of mean.

In scene 4 the message that Romeo sends to juliet through the Nurse is to get out of the house and to go to confession at the abby that afternoon. And that at Friar Lawrence's cell she can make confession and be married.

In scene 5 Juliet is waiting for the nurse to return.

Love's heralds
Which ten times faster glide than the sun's beams
louring hills.
nimble-pinioned doves
wind-swift Cupid wings.

What romeo is going to do with the rope ladder is climb up to Juliets window while it's dark

He tells them to love each other moderatly and that to fast comes as late as to slow

I would chharacterize there love as real love. They trully are in love that they would secretly get married and sneak out.

Mercutio is a comical, sometimes rude character. He likes to joke around, and make fun of people. This might be a sign of insecurity.
When the nurse first meets Romeo, she is worried that he might play with Juliet's heart, or be with another girl as well. But, Romeo well assures her that he will take care of Juliet, and that he will love her as his one-and-only. Romeo also tells the Nurse that he and Juliet are to meet at the priest's cell for "confession," but that they really will be married at that time.
When this is all happening, Juliet is sitting anxiously back at the Capulet home, waiting for her nurse to come back with news of Romeo and her marriage. When the nurse finally comes back, Juliet talks with her, and brings up many images in their conversation, such as:
love's heralds,
sun's beams,
shadows,
louring hills,
nimble-pinioned doves,
and wind-swift Cupid wings.
Romeo, that night, will use the rope ladder provided by Juliet to climb up to her room when it is good and dark.
The Friar warns Romeo right before he is to be married that he must not fall in love too fast, too rushed, for his love relationship will end faster that way.
Upon hearing this, Romeo and Juliet pay no attenion whatsoever, because they are too excited about being married, and having found each other.

Mercutio seems to be a guy who doesnt care to much about love, but more about having fun. He's an all around guy and doesn't think much of Romeo's "love" for Rosaline or Juliet.
Nurse is afraid that Romeo is using Juliet, or leading her on. SHe does not want Juliet to be hurt by this boy who claims that he loves her. She is also afraid that Romeo will take advantage of Juliet, leaving her emotionally(and possibly phisycally) scarred.

Romeo sends to Juliet through the Nurse that they are to be wed that afternoon and that Friar Lawrence will do it for them in his cell.

Juliet is waiting for Nurse to tell her of her meeting with Romeo. Juliet wishes to know what he said to her and what he says about their marriage, while Nurse protests saying that she is out of breath and that Juliet must wait.

Juliet compares love to the bright sunbeams, driving away darkness and shadows and also to the wind under cupid's wings.

Romeo wishes to take the rope ladder so that he may climb up Juliet's balcony and be with her in secret.

Friar warns Romeo that love that is moving to quickly can quickly come to an end. This implys that Romeo and Juliet should slow down, and not be in such a rush to get married.

Romeo and Juleit are not paying attention to Friar's warning. I would characterise their love as childish, and blind. Much like the love of young teenagers(which they happen to be).

From what I have read so far I would describe Mecutio as loyal, brave, and rude. He is loyal to Romeo which he shows by trying to help him out of his misery and sticking up for him in arguements. he is brave becuase he takes the threat of a fight with little care and he is rude because he says things without consideration to other people's feelings like with the nurse.

The nurse when meeting Romeo is worried he might mistreat her or is only leading her on and is not actually interested in her. Later she comes to the descion that he will not do that.

Romeo uses the nurse as a messanger to Juliet telling her to meet him at Friar Lawrences' cell and there they will get married.

Juliet is waiting impatiently for her nurse to return and give her Romeo's message.

When Juliet is describing love with images of light and dark but love is overcoming the dark. SHe uses the sun beams, shadows, dark hills, wings of cupid.

Romeo is giving the rope ladder to the nurse to help Juliet escape so she can meet him.

Friar Lawrence is warning Romeo that intense love ends badly and he should love moderately. This is a form of foreshadowing.

Romeo and Juliet are not paying any attention to Frair Lawrences warning. From this I would say their love is deep, unstoppable, unpredictable and misguided.

1. From what I have read so far I would describe Mercutio as a little self centered and care free. In some ways he only cares about himself, and if he is worried about someone else it’s only because they way they are acting bothers him. He is care free in the sense that he doesn’t really seem to care what he is doing with his life.
2.
3. Romeo tells her to ask Juliet to meet him to be married,
4. In scene 5 Juliet is waiting for the message from the nurse.
5. Juliet uses images such as cupid’s wings and doves drawn love to describe love.
6. Romeo is going to leave the rope ladder for Juliet to climb down when she leaves to meet him to be married.
7. He warns Romeo that in short time he may lose Juliet’s love.
8. I think that Romeo and Juliet aren’t actually in love. I think that they are rebelling against their families wishes. I think that their love isn’t real.

7. Friar Lawrence warns Romeo that his love and marriage may end badly, and that they should take things slow, so that they don't rush things to quickly, and ruin their relationship.
8.I don't think ROmeo and Juliet really care nor hear what Friar Lawrence has to say to them about being careful, they are just interested in each other, and the fact that they are about to be wed. This says that they are naive, and a little careless in their planning.
