In chapters 5 and 6, Holden continues to tell us about his life and his experiences, and we continue to get to know him. What important information does Holden give us in these two chapters?

1) Choose one thing from chapter 5 or 6 (a moment in the story, a piece of information, or a quote) that you feel is important to our understanding of Holden and to his character.
